IE issues
IE issues
If customer browser is not functioning properly, If IE flashes, cannot display the web page.
Note: Do not perform IE reset before performing any trouble steps.
If IE flashes
Step: 1 Open Internet explorer in No-add-ons mode. This will not load any browser toolbars and any extensions.
Win XP: Click on Start – All programs – Accessories – System tools – Internet explorer (no add-ons mode)
Win vista or 7: Click on Start –Type internet explorer in the Start search will find Internet explorer (no add-ons mode)
Step: 2 if the Browser works, the issues is causing due to some Add-ons that is because of some tool bars, so disable the browser toolbar. If the browser still works in the same way even in the NO add-ons mode, then try step 5.
Step: 3 Open Internet Options go to Advanced tab – under the browser option uncheck the option “Enable third-party browser extensions”.
Step: 4 Try opening the browser in a normal way.
Step: 5 Open COMMAND PROMPT,
Type “Cd\” press enter
Type “Cd program files” press enter
Type “Cd Internet explorer” press enter, it will show as “C:\program files\internet explorer>”
Type “regsvr32 ieframe.dll” press enter.
Restart the computer.
Step: 6 open the browser, if the issues still persist.
Step: 7 Open internet options go to Advanced options, click on Reset.
Note: Inform the customer about the IE reset, because this will delete the user name and password and the history’s that are saved in IE.
Step: 8 Try opening the browser, if the issue persist then uninstall and reinstall the browser.
Cannot display the web page

Step: 6 Try to browse , if the issue still persist , Do browser optimization and reset the IE.
Step: 7 If the issues still persist , Check for the firewall software disable the firewall ,restart the computer.
Step: 8 Restart the computer, try to browse .If the issue persist.
Step: 9 Restart the computer in safe mode with networking .Try to browse .
Step: 10 If able to browse , Restart the computer in normal mode , uninstall the firewall software and reinstall it , and create a firewall rule.
