Install Office 2010 on XP Pro SP2.

Step: 1 If customer is using Windows XP SP2, download and install SP3
Note: If unable to install the SP3 , follow the steps from Step 3.
Step: 2 Then install Microsoft office 2010
Step: 3 Download “msxml6” file from the internet .
Step: 4 Open Registry register editor.
Step: 5 Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows” on the right pane look for CSDVersion , change the string value from 200 to 300 .
Note : Before making any changes on registry , please take a backup of registry editor.
Step: 6 Restart the computer
Step:7 Open registry editor and open the same location and change the CSDVersion value from 300 to 200 again.
Step: 7 Install MS Office 2010.
