Signs & Symptoms

> No wireless networks are detected.

Fix Steps

1. Ensure wireless NIC is turned on either by a physical switch on the laptop or by a key combination (depending on make/model).
2. Make sure there isn't a third party software switch disabling the adapter radio.
3. Ensure the wireless NIC is properly enabled in the device manager.
4. Read and respond to any error messages in the device manager
5. Verify all correct services needed for wireless are started
6. Last resort, download new drivers from the manufacturer and attempt to update them.
