Wireless radio does not turn on for Toshiba laptop

Symptom/Sign of Problem

1. Customer can't locate the wireless switch on the laptop or you otherwise can't tell if it is on.
2. No wireless networks are in range even when the wireless adapter appears to be on and functional.
3. Hitting the FN+F8 keys simultaneously doesn't appear to have any effect on turning wireless on or off.

Fix Steps

1. Open an elevated command prompt
2. Copy and paste the following command

%programfiles%\Toshiba\TBS\TBSWireless.exe

This method has been confirmed on Satellite models but may also be relevant on others.
