Signs & Symptoms
1. The wireless NIC is enabled but you can not browse for wireless networks. This usually happens due to a malware infection or after cleaning.
2. When you try to enable the CNG Key Isolation service you get "Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified."
Cause
1. The "ImagePath" value has probably been removed/erased/deleted from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\KeyIso.This can be caused by some forms of adware.
Fix Steps
1. Open an elevated command prompt
2. Copy and paste the following command
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\KeyIso /v ImagePath /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d %SystemRoot%\system32\lsass.exe
sc start keyiso
sc start wlansvc
3. Check that wireless networks are now visible by:
netsh wlan show network
4. A reboot may be required for the wireless networks to show up.
